The customer wasted money. Changing the gasket on that car is easy, and the valve cover would be fine.

Real question is why not just run a spool instead of a welded diff?

if its on the lift, i would drop in the engine, then use a transmission jack to install the transmission. It makes it easier not having to do the angle dangle..
